Pediatric & Adolescent Oral Surgery
Frequently, our pediatric patients are referred by
their physician and dentists to treat oral pathology.
They are also referred by their orthodontists for
extractions or exposure of teeth in conjunction with
their braces. Special care is taken by our doctors
and staff to make these patients comfortable-often
simply with a smile. We have a variety of anesthesia
options and are well-trained in their administration.
Our doctors are thorough with explanations of conditions
and treatment plans. Most pediatric patients and their
parents leave our office ready to proceed!
Implant tooth replacement in children is usually
deferred until their jaw growth is complete. There
are, however, some instances when a dental implant
may be appropriate, such as when it is part of the
child's orthodontic treatment plan. Your family dentist
or orthodontist can guide you in this instance.
