Insurance and Financial Policy
OMSS is a provider with most insurance companies
in Tennessee and will file your insurance for you. We require proof
of insurance at the time of your exam or you will be expected to
pay for your visit.
It is your responsibility to verify whether or not
your insurance company requires a referral. If so, you must have
it at the time of your visit. If you do not have it, you will not
be covered by your insurance.
We do require a deposit the day of surgery, but it
is only an estimate of what will not be covered by your insurance.
However, you are responsible for the full amount, regardless of
insurance coverage, and you may receive a bill for any outstanding
balance after your insurance pays.
If you do not have insurance, you will be expected
to pay 1/2 down to schedule surgery and the balance paid on the
day of surgery.
We do accept cash, checks and most major credit cards.
We also accept Care Credit, which can be applied for at our office
at the time of your exam.
We have a $25 returned check fee and a $125 fee for
a missed surgery appointment.
